Sean

An average teenager needs about 8.5-9.25 hours of sleep per day. As long as you are feeling alert during the day and not drowsy, you don't really have to worry about it. Some people are long sleepers and some people are short sleepers, so there is no real standard.

Alec

During sleep is when your body repairs itself from the damage you do to it every day, and it's also when you grow. If you don't get enough sleep, you get run down fast, and you can't reach your full potential in any area of life.
